20 Quotes to Motivate You to Success

Share

When i’m having a rough day or just need some inspiration, I usually pick up a book or find myself pinning quotes on Pinterest. Sometimes, it just takes a few words to get me excited about the next project I want to start working on. I thought i’d share some of my favorite, most motivational quotes that help to inspire me  on a daily basis. Some of these quotes are from people I look up to (like my dad) and i’ve written how these words motivate me.

“It’s a good day to have a good day”

I have no idea what amazing human said these words first, but if anyone knows, please let me know so I can thank them in person. If anyone knows me, they know how much I love this quote and live my life by these words. It is so open ended and could mean a variety of things to different people. Side note: I used to have this quote on a sticky note taped to my mirror so I could look at it everyday.

“What is done with love is done well”

“Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally, it comes from what you do consistently”

“We lose ourselves in the things we love. We find ourselves there too”

Yes, that’s the same last name as mine. Joseph Sylvestro is my dad and he is a force of nature. There is nothing in the world my dad can’t or won’t do. He is unstoppable and my biggest role model. I don’t have the words to properly describe him, but if I could sum him up in one world it would unstoppable.

“Everyday the sun will rise and set regardless. What you choose to do with the light is up to you. Journey Wisely”

“Don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know” – Sara Blakely

I AM OBSESSED with Sara Blakely. I’ll probably write an entire post about this trailblazing inventor of Spanx, so I won’t explain her whole story. Her story, passion and determination to be different is something I really look up to.

“Believe in yourself and prepare to work hard”

“When you think of stopping, think about why you started”

“Don’t fear failure. Fear being in the exact same place you’re in this time next year”

“If it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you”

“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”

“You just can’t beat the person who never gives up”

“Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment”

“Remember that today is the first day of the rest of your life. What an incredible gift that is to have the canvas of your life ready and waiting for you to paint it”

“You weren’t born to just pay bills and die”

“Honor the space between no longer and not yet”

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind everything. What we think, we become.”

I came across this quote one day on Pinterest while sitting at my cubicle job. I woke up on Monday’s so unmotivated and grumpy going into work wondering if this is what my life was going to be like. Yes, i’m a Millenial, but that’s not why I hated my job. I knew there was so much more to me, that I had a passion to share with others and I wanted to change someone’s life. Seeing this quote, put it all into perspective.
